Cedar Cove

They are working on updating everything and responded quickly to the tv not working and took care of that. The pool was nice. The kids enjoyed it. The room was clean but the craftsmanship in the bathroom left a bit to be desired.

Attentive front desk and staff, and clean rooms. Can’t complain about a $100 motel right by cedar point. Breakfast was decent (boiled eggs, pancakes, yogurt, pastries etc.) and not crowded.

When pulling up to the place I thought it looked okay not the greatest, however when I walked inside the rooms it was pretty nice. Everything was cleaned and organized, looked remodeled and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also awesome with new countertop and it looked like the sink was new too, Modern colors and fixtures. Floors were nice to being gray tile wood. The owner was nice and super friendly. They give out breakfast too which doesn’t come with a lot of variety however it definitely provides more that is essential like juice and eggs and cereal. But also had toast fruit and coffee. This is a budget hotel also, it came with a lot more than I was expecting for the price. Even then I just stayed at another hotel double the price, didn’t even have shampoo or conditioner, and everything was old and worn. I would definitely try this place, I also read the reviews about how it’s not clean, I really just think those reviews are catching the bad parts, I didn’t notice anything or see anything and we stayed for two nights. I would try this place though for sure! And next to cedar point hell yeah!

The staff was so helpful through the booking and checking process. Super convenient to cedar point! Nice rooms. Very happy!

This place was a great last minute stay for me. I'll be honest. The exterior is outdated and a little sketch, but it is actually a really decent place to stay. Checkin was easy and the room was clean. Cable channels were lacking, but I really just needed a place to sleep. They have awesome toilet paper too and they offered free water bottles when I checked in. The breakfast spread was decent and filling. They are family owned, and i love to suppirt small businesses. Overall, I loved my stay and hope they can continue make updates in the future.

The location was very convenient, we were trying to head to Kelly’s Island and called around 9 p.m and luckily they had a room. Price was a little on the high end, $102, but worth it since we had a good overnight experience other than the train that passed every 30 minutes or so. The room was pretty clean, restroom was spotless besides the paint job done in the restroom, the air conditioner was noisy but worked great, the bed was perfect, and the customer service was excellent. The only complaint I have is with the floors. The floors were coated in dirt, not visible, but we were able to tell by the soles of our feet being a different color. Definitely needs a deep clean on that carpet. The train was a huge issue for my partner, being a light sleeper she couldn’t get great sleep. As a deep sleeper myself, I slept great. Definitely recommend this location if you are a deep sleeper. Something I was concerned about was bugs. This was my first motel experience and was pleasantly surprised when we had no bugs whatsoever. Not in the bathrooms, the floor, windowsill, absolutely nothing. Overall: 7.5/10 Customer service: 10/10 Location: 9/10 Cleanliness: 8/10 Bathroom: 9/10 Noise: 5/10

This place literally saved our vacation! We booked at another hotel and it wasn't so good. We came here asking to view the room before purchasing.. the guy was more than happy to take us on the tour! The room is small but it's very clean, smells good and he let us get our room before booking time!

So its not fancy but the in person customer service was actually a pleasure.. Very pleasant to deal with staff.. Especially front desk gentleman. Also room and pool and hotel property in general very clean... Can't beat the location.. Imma stay again just because they were so cool...
